My new construction experience includes a range of structural systems, including post-tensioned slabs, hollow-core slabs, tilt-up panels, precast panels, and tunnel form systems. Scope of Work
New construction
Geographic Areas: High Velocity Hurricane Zone. Inspection of all structural components on residential high-rises, institutional buildings, hotels, mixed-use buildings and warehouses: massive pile caps, elevated mild-reinforced and post-tension slabs, composite slabs, reinforced CMU walls, concrete elevated pools, parking garages, and massive concrete placements. Overseeing test agencies. Interfacing with Building Officials, owner's representatives, general contractors and shell contractors.
Existing construction
High Velocity Hurricane Zone. Structural assessments and safety structural inspections (milestone inspections) on residential and commercial buildings, plus concrete repair protocols.
Team coordination
Interfacing with the design team (architects and engineers), owner's representatives and building departments.
Inspector training
Interviewing and recommending new candidates for structural inspector positions, and training new inspectors in the field.
